Samantha
Owner & Master Stylist
Samantha is a British Hairdresser and founder of Hair Shaka. She has been in the hairdressing industry from the age of 14, giving her over 22 years of hairdressing knowledge. Her career started in Leicester in one of the top hairdressing salons where she worked alongside celebrity hairstylists and in house trained with Loreal educators from a young age. Over the years she has taken part in countless fashion shows and editorial work. Being in high demand she has remained a fully booked stylist in any salon and is dedicated to making all individual clients feel their best.
Over the past 10 years Samantha has been working with the Kevin Murphy Brand in the UK and now Singapore. She is very experienced with the Colour.Me range as well as all the other Kevin Murphy Products to offer.
Samantha has been a fully qualified hair stylist for many years whilst gaining all NVQ qualifications in the UK. She is qualified to an exceptional level in all colouring techniques such as colour corrections, highlighting, balayage, ombre, glossing, toning and more. Her haircutting skills are amazing as well as her Hair Ups for weddings & special occasions. She has always lived and trained in a multicultural community and can work with all different hair types therefore, making Samantha an incredibly unique and diverse stylist in Singapore.
Janien
Master Stylist
Janien hails from Liverpool, UK and has over 20 years of hairdressing experience. Her multifaceted approach to hair fashion has allowed her to specialize in ladies cutting, highlighting, balayage, braiding and bridal hair up. She is an expert in all types of hair extensions such as wefts, tape-ins, micro rings and she will be able to find you the right fit for your hair! One of Janien's favourite brands at the moment is K18 and became an educator sharing her knowledge of K18 across Singapore.
Her vast knowledge and technical know-how from working all over the world has pushed her to constantly exceed her expectations and has allowed her to stay passionate for her craft. Expect to see her bubbly and outgoing self around the salon and get ready to absorb all of that infectious energy and good vibes.
Cassey
Stylist
Meet Cassey, a talented and passionate Stylist with over 6 years of experience in the beauty industry. At the young age of 15, Cassey started as an assistant and quickly realised her love for hairdressing. Now having completed her diploma in hairdressing at Kimage hair school, Cassey is well on her way, making her a skilled hair stylist. Cassey is working closely with our supporting brands as she continues to grow her hairdressing knowledge. Having worked with us over the years, Cassey is used to working with all different hair types and textures.
Tabitha
Nail Technician Specialist
Tabitha, has always been passionate about beauty from a very young age. She hails from Singapore & has lived in the US. From the age of 20 she joined the nail Industry and has since followed her passion. Highly experienced in all nail services such as mani, pedi, gel, extensions & nail art whilst understanding the importance of nail health. 6+ years later she still loves her creative career. She keeps up to date with the latest styles and methods. Drawing has always been a hobby for Tabitha and she loves chatting and building professional friendships with her clients. Zey
Stylist
Zey has been in the industry for more than 8 years and has a real passion for hairdressing. Within these years he had gained himself a hairdressing diploma. His friendly, warm, welcoming, professional personality will leave you looking and feeling fantastic. He has experience in hair coloring, cutting, styling and assessing the hair and its condition. Zee believes there is no end to learning in this artistic industry and is always attending shows and seminars with the big hairdressing brands. Zee always stives to exceed client expectations and is looking forward to seeing you in his chair so he can work his magic.
Aisah
Make Up Artist & Receptionist
You will see this talented lady Aisah in the salon, getting clients glammed up with her excellent make-up skills as well as working reception, answering your emails, making your drinks, booking appointments and attending to your needs in and out of the salon.
Aisah has been in Singapore all her life and has been working in the beauty industry for many years. Previously Aisah has worked and trained with brands like MAC & Make Up Forever Academy. Aisah took a break from the makeup industry and had her first born daughter. Returning to work Aisah is keeping Hair Shaka running like clockwork.
